NOTE FOR AUTHORS

BULLETIN OF OLEKSANDR DOVZHENKO HLUKHIV NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY. SERIES: PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES IS INCLUDED TO THE LIST OF SCIENTIFIC SPECIALIZED PUBLICATIONS OF UKRAINE CATEGORY B.

ATTENTION! The submitted materials should be actual, original (not published earlier in other editions), stylistically and orthographically edited.

Requirements for the designation of articles:

  • The document format is Microsoft Word 2003–2007 (* .doc), font Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing of the main text 1. The text is formatted without tabulation and carrying of words.

  • The page size is A4, orientation of pages – book, upper, left, right, bottom shores2 cm; paragraph indentation– 1,25 cm.

  • Volume of article (without heading and references) – at least 8 pages.

  • Number of authors - no more than three.

  • The tables are typed directly into the Microsoft Word program and are numbered sequentially.

  • Signatures for drawings, tables are dialed by 10 pt.

  • Schemes, compositions consisting of individual elements, figures, pictures and other objects should be grouped as one object.

Article structure:

  • Index UDC – indicated in the first line of the page, left-aligned, bold font, Times New Roman, 12 pt, all capital letters.
  • Index DOI – left-aligned under UDC, Times New Roman, 12 pt, all capital letters (provided by the editors of the Bulletin).
  • Title of article (in Ukrainian)– all capital letters, bold font, Times New Roman, 12 pt, center alignment, up to10 words.
  • Surname, name and patronymic of the author (s) ‒ bold font, Times New Roman, 12 pt, center alignment.
  • About the author (s) ‒ academic title, academic degree, position; the full official name of the institution (s) ‒ italics; personal e-mail address; Index ORCID ID(Registration at https://orcid.org/); center alignment, Times New Roman, 10 pt.
  • Abstract in Ukrainian – 8-10 lines, Key word (5−7 words) – italics, Times New Roman, 10 pt.
  • The main text – Times New Roman, 12 pt. The sections of the text should begin with the following bolded headings:

-          Statement of the problem;

-          Analysis of recent research and publications;

-          Formulation of the purpose of the article;

-          The main material (with full justification of the obtained results);

-          Conclusions (with prospects for further study in this area).

  • References – center alignment, bold font, Times New Roman, 12 pt. References are made in compliance with the requirements of DSTU 8302:2015.
  • Title of article (in English)– all capital letters, bold font, Times New Roman, 12 pt, center alignment, up to10 words.
  • Surname, name of the author (s) – bold font, Times New Roman, 12 pt, center alignment.
  • About the author (s) – academic title, academic degree, position; the full official name of the institution (s) ‒ italics; center alignment, Times New Roman, 10 pt.
  • Abstract in English – (not less than 1800 characters) written in high quality English in accordance with the requirements of international databases, Times New Roman, 12 pt, italics.
  • The sections of the text should begin with the following bolded headings: 

-       Introduction.

-       Purpose.

-       Methods.

-       Results.

-       Originality.

-       Conclusion.

-       Key words (5−7 words). 

  • References ‒ Times New Roman, 10 pt. References should be written according to the APA (American Psychological Association) style (https://www.mendeley.com/guides/apa-citation-guide)
  • All references in the Cyrillic alphabet should be transliterated and translated into English and placed in square brackets; at the end it is necessary to indicate the language of the original in square brackets. On the site https://translit.ru/ there is a free opportunity to use the transliteration of Russian text, and on the site http://translit.kh.ua/ – Ukrainian text in Latin.
  • The names of periodicals (journals) should be in line with the official Latin spelling of the ISSN registration number. The Index DOI (if available) must be added to the resource.

Author's surname, (comma) initials. (Year of publication). The title of the book is transliterated [The title of the book is translated into English]. City (full): Publishing house. [in Ukrainian (in English, in Russian, etc.)].

The article should be carefully checked and completely edited.

If the article is submitted in English, then the extended annotation is submitted in Ukrainian.

The articles, which do not meet the specified requirements, will return to the authors for revision.

Articles should be sent to the e-mail address of the editorial board of the Bulletin (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.):

  • File names in the electronic version should consist of the author's surname, for example, "Bogdanov_article.doc" and "Bogdanov_application.doc", "Bogdanov_review.doc").
  • The editorial board sends the notice of acceptance of the article for publication to the author's e-mail address after checking for plagiarism and reviewing.
  • The money transfer is paid after a positive decision of the editorial board to accept the article for publication.
  • The amount of money transfer for the publication of articles in the Bulletin of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University is determined in accordance with a separate edition of the Bulletin.
  • The author of the article is responsible for the accuracy of the material presented, for the correct citation of the sources and corresponding references. The author confirms his responsibility by signing the application for publication of the article in the issue of a professional publication on pedagogical sciences.
  • The editorial board reserves the right to check the received articles for plagiarism, to send the submitted articles for additional review, as well as to reject which do not meet the requirements or scientific directions of the journal.
